While exploring more of Beaumaris on foot this weekend I took a break on an elevated terrace overlooking the 15th hole of the golf course. Beyond in the background is Baby's Bay and its picturesque bridge, providing boat access beneath its middle and for golf carts that cottage owners use to reach their properties around the island.

ReplyDeleteI met one of the locals while I was here who found it ironic as this was his favourite view, and that he had commissioned an artist from Huntsville to paint this scene for his cottage.
Like yourself, I prefer to venture off the beaten path and see what there is to discover.
