I am fascinated with the number of variations and formations of icefalls that grace the sides of the roadside rock cuts. This scene captured my attention with its lone, frosted tree etched against the azure sky, standing tall against all odds in its struggle for survival in this harsh environment.

ReplyDeleteOh! Malcolm...Great perspective....it does remind me of one of my shots...but much better with that lone tree!!!! was it from these 2 past days with all this glorious sunshine? I just hate myself when I leave the camera home....there were some amazing shots on my way into town early this morning....all that pretty frost covering everything!!!!!
